The above image, commissioned by Save The Children, was created in response to a visit to Germany in 2015 meet Syrian refugees and to report on their new lives, and their struggles in reaching Europe. It will feature in a new exhibition opening this autumn at The House of Illustration: Journeys Drawn: Illustrations from The Refugee Crisis. It will run from 9th November 2018 until 10th March 2019. Alongside my work will be illustrations and reportage from 12 other contemporary illustrations, including Olivier Kugler, George Butler and David Foldvari.

Since making these images I have recently completed a short animated film for Save The Children, in which children from around the world talk about their hopes and dreams for the future.
