Painting from life

As we bask in endless sunshine, this image, painted on the spot, shows the Cornish coast near Porthleven. As in Norfolk, my usual painting territory, the coast is dotted with pillboxes, salutary reminders of war. There are more examples of my land and cityscapes on this site under the Paintings and Drawings Menu – Norfolk and India.
