MODERN STILL LIFE

I am, at once, exasperated and intrigued by the modern world, and especially technology. Flowers, however, offer me unalloyed pleasure. These images, which seek to update the genre of flower still life painting, depict hand held technology, with its built-in obsolescence, and other contemporary objects, next to briefly radiant blooms.
